An inspection tells you what we found on the car. If the report shows something that needs work, here's how to use it.
Before you buy, get the repair priced. Show the shop your report and ask for a written estimate. Then you can ask the seller to fix it first, ask for a lower price, or walk away.
If the report recommends a diagnosis, get that first. A symptom can have more than one cause, and the shop needs to find the cause before it can price the fix.
The car still belongs to the seller. Get their OK before you book it into a shop or move it.
Call ahead. Ask whether they work on your make and when they can see the car.
These are independent shops in Marietta, grouped by the kind of work your report may call for. Inside each group they're in alphabetical order, and the order isn't a ranking.
We haven't worked with these shops, and a listing isn't an endorsement. We found each one on its own website and listed what it says it does. No shop paid to be listed. Choosing a shop is your call, so ask for a written estimate before you approve any work.
