The battery is the most expensive part of an electric car. It is also the one part you cannot see, cannot hear, and cannot judge on a test drive. We are an authorized AVILOO testing partner in Atlanta, and we produce a third-party, TUV-certified battery health certificate for your vehicle. A neutral document, from a neutral party, that travels with the car.

To add it, text or call (833) 644-0800 with your vehicle's year, make and model. We confirm coverage before you pay anything, then set it up with your inspection booking or on its own.
We come to the car. A travel fee may apply depending on where the vehicle is, and we confirm it with you before the inspection.
If you are buying, the seller can show you a number on a screen. That number may well be accurate. The problem is that you have no way to know, and no way to prove it later.
An independent certificate solves a different problem than the dashboard does. It is not about catching anyone out. It is about having a figure that came from somebody with no stake in the sale. That distinction is the whole product.
AVILOO is a European battery diagnostics company whose testing is certified by both TUV Nord and TUV Sud. Their tests are used by ADAC, the insurer AXA, the fleet operators Ayvens and Arval, BCA and Cox Automotive, and by Mercedes, Volvo, Porsche Holding and Hyundai dealer networks across Europe.
In an independent 2025 study run for BOVAG and VER, covering 185 tests across 24 battery-electric models, AVILOO was rated among the two most reliable of the five providers evaluated.
By AVILOO's own published figures, the test connects through the OBD-II port, analyses over 20,000 data points, and checks every battery cell individually. Across tens of thousands of tests they report finding 1 to 2 battery defects per 100 tests.
Here is the part people find surprising, and it is a strength rather than a weakness. In that same study, AVILOO's result tracked the manufacturer's own reported state of health very closely, with an average difference of about a fifth of a percentage point. We think that is exactly what you want. A test that wildly disagreed with the car would be a test you could not trust. What you are buying is not a contradiction. It is confirmation from somebody independent, written down, in a form you can hand to a buyer, a seller, or a lender.
A passing certificate gives you confidence in the most expensive component on the car. A failing one is worth even more: that is the thirty-thousand-dollar mistake you did not make.
AVILOO sells to businesses only. Their own North American page states it plainly: exclusively for business customers. So this is not a test you can order yourself at any price. You can get it through a partner. In Atlanta, that is us.
Know the health of the most expensive component before the money moves. Have a neutral number to negotiate against instead of a seller's screenshot. Get it as part of a full pre-purchase inspection, so the battery is checked alongside everything else.
A certificate answers the first question every EV buyer asks, before they ask it. Documented battery health removes the biggest unknown in the transaction, and the certificate travels with the car.
Tesla and 57 other EV brands. We cannot currently test Rivian, Lucid, Fisker, VinFast, Nio, or the Tesla Cybertruck. Coverage changes as AVILOO adds models, so if your vehicle is on that list it is still worth asking.
Text us the year, make and model, and we will confirm coverage and set it up. Texting is the quickest way to get an answer.
