You can book an inspection through our online booking system, by calling us at (833) 644-0800, or by texting (833) 644-0800. We'll work with you to schedule a convenient time for your inspection.
Inspections typically take 1 to 3 hours, depending on the vehicle type and inspection package selected. Some inspections may take closer to one hour on-site, with additional time afterward to complete the inspection report. More comprehensive packages may take longer, especially for complex vehicles.
Most reports are delivered the same day or within 24 hours. All reports include detailed notes, photos, and videos. Delivery times may vary based on the inspection package and vehicle complexity.
Yes, same-day inspections may be available based on location and availability. We recommend contacting us early in the day to check scheduling options. Requests made after 10:30 AM may be subject to an expedite fee, depending on availability and logistics.
Yes! We offer mobile inspections and can inspect vehicles at dealerships, private sellers, or other approved locations. This convenience is built into all our packages.
If possible, we recommend performing your own initial walk-through of the vehicle first. Once you're satisfied, you can place your inspection order. You may also place an order in advance and note that it is contingent on your initial review of the vehicle.
No, you do not need to be present during the inspection. Our inspections are designed to be completed independently so you receive objective, detailed results without pressure from sellers or time constraints. After the inspection, you will receive photos, videos, and clearly written notes outlining all findings. You will also have the opportunity to speak directly with the mechanic to review the results and ask questions. Each inspection report is reviewed internally for quality and accuracy, and in some cases, additional notes may be added before the report is finalized. For this reason, we recommend waiting until you receive your completed inspection report before making any purchase or negotiation decisions.
You are welcome to observe the inspection; however, it is not recommended. For quality, accuracy, and safety reasons, inspections are best performed uninterrupted. Interference during the inspection can impact efficiency and increase the risk of missed details. When available, we encourage customers to be present at the end of the inspection for a brief walk-around summary with the technician. This allows you to see key findings without disrupting the inspection process. If interruptions, unsafe behavior, or interference occur at any point, Car Pro Inspections reserves the right to pause, stop, or cancel the inspection.
Yes, we perform test drives whenever permitted, provided the vehicle is legal, insured, and safe to operate, and the seller allows it. Test drives are essential for evaluating ride quality, transmission performance, and identifying issues that only appear during driving.
For safety and liability reasons, ride-alongs during test drives are generally limited. The vehicle owner or seller may be present during a test drive at their discretion. Customer ride-alongs are not guaranteed and may be limited to one (1) customer, subject to technician approval, seller consent, and vehicle safety considerations. The technician has sole discretion to decline ride-alongs or discontinue a test drive if conditions are deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
Yes. As mobile professional inspectors, we inspect the underside of the vehicle using creepers, mirrors, and inspection cameras. While the inspection is non-invasive (no disassembly), our experience allows us to identify leaks, damage, wear, and other concerns that may not be visible from above.
Any issues found are documented with photos, notes, and explanations. You may speak directly with the inspector to better understand the findings. Inspection results are often used as negotiation leverage for repairs, pricing adjustments, or to help you decide whether to proceed with the purchase.
We are independent and unbiased. We do not sell vehicles or repairs. Unlike repair shops that may focus on selling services, or body shops that focus only on cosmetic issues, we specialize in pre-purchase inspections, combining mechanical evaluation, diagnostic scanning, body and paint analysis (including paint measurements and panel alignment), and interior, exterior, and functional checks. You receive a comprehensive inspection designed specifically to help you make an informed buying decision.
Accuracy is ensured through experienced inspectors, standardized inspection procedures, detailed documentation with photos and videos, and internal quality checks before report delivery. Our goal is to provide clear, factual, and easy-to-understand reports.
We provide free post-inspection support. If you have questions after reviewing your report, we're happy to walk through the findings so you can make an informed decision.
Yes. Our inspectors hold various professional certifications, including ASE certifications and manufacturer-branded certifications across European, domestic, and Japanese vehicle platforms. All inspections are performed by experienced professionals who specialize in pre-purchase vehicle inspections.
We inspect a wide range of vehicles, including standard daily-drivers, luxury vehicles, performance and modified vehicles, exotic and rare supercars, electric and hybrid vehicles, classic and collector cars, and commercial work trucks. We offer multiple inspection packages to ensure every vehicle type gets the right level of inspection.
We do not recommend or endorse specific dealerships or sellers. Our role is to remain unbiased and factual, focusing solely on the condition of the vehicle. Dealership policies, staff, and experiences can change over time. We encourage all buyers to perform proper due diligence, including an inspection, vehicle history check, and reviewing seller reputation.
Yes — we offer a conditional satisfaction guarantee. If we make a mistake or fail to perform the inspection properly, we will address it. However, if we perform the inspection correctly and identify issues, refunds are not provided simply because the vehicle has problems or you decide not to purchase it. Helping you avoid a bad purchase is the value of the inspection.
You may cancel or reschedule your inspection up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Last-minute or same-day cancellations may incur a fee due to scheduling and travel commitments.
A seller who refuses to allow an inspection may be hiding problems. This is often a red flag. We can provide advice on how to approach reluctant sellers or help you find alternative vehicles.
