Fully electric cars (no engine at all, battery only) are inspected on Enhanced or Elite. Hybrids and plug-in hybrids can choose any tier. Here is what each one gets, so you know what you are paying for before you book.
A fully electric car gets its own checks, which take more time: the battery's charge and range, an underbody check of the high-voltage battery's shield, and the diagnostic scan where the car allows it.
All of that sits on top of the full mechanical and safety inspection every car gets: brakes, suspension and steering, underbody and structure, and a road test when the seller allows it and it is safe and legal to drive.

We come to the car. A travel fee may apply depending on where the vehicle is, and we confirm it with you before the inspection.
A hybrid or plug-in hybrid gets the full inspection and the dealer-level diagnostic scan (availability varies by make and year) on every tier. Choose the tier by how much detail you want, the same way you would for any other car.
The inspection does not test the hybrid battery itself. For a plug-in hybrid, ask us about the battery test below. It does not cover standard hybrids.
