Why buyers choose us

Four things we do differently.

No adjectives about anybody else. Just what you get when the company you hire is the one doing the work.

1

The right certified expert for your car

Certified, factory-trained technicians across specialties, including ASE, manufacturer training, collision, diesel, and EV/hybrid, matched to your vehicle. Not one-size-fits-all.

2

You choose the level of scrutiny

Three inspection tiers instead of one-size-fits-all. Pick the depth that matches the car and the risk, from a careful-buyer baseline to maximum-depth Elite.

3

Dealer-level scan, in plain English

Codes pulled the way a dealership pulls them, then translated into what they mean for the car and your wallet. On every tier.

4

A report you can negotiate with

Photos, video, and on Enhanced and Elite, repair cost ranges plus a written negotiation summary you can take straight to the seller.

Side by side

What you get, compared honestly.

We only list what we can verify. The competitor column reflects Lemon Squad's published services and public reviews, re-confirmed the day this page goes live.

The competitor column reflects Lemon Squad's own published information, last verified August 13, 2026 (lemonsquad.com), and is not a judgement of any individual inspector. Both companies work with independent contract technicians; the difference described here is how the work is assigned, not employment status. With us, the mechanic who inspects the car is the one who builds your report.

The honest case

Four true things. That's the whole pitch.

A comparison page is an invitation to check us. Everything below survives a phone call, a booking, and a stopwatch.

The mechanic who inspects the car builds your report.

No anonymous network, no report assembled somewhere else. The certified tech who puts hands on the vehicle writes the findings, and after the report drops, the inspector calls you. The owner still inspects vehicles himself: Stephon is a 25 year Master Technician, David is a Master Mechanic with more than 40 years in the trade, and Alex has 16 years on European vehicles and trucks.

Every inspection

Talk to the mechanic who actually saw your car.

A 15 to 30 minute consultation with your inspector is included on Enhanced and Elite. Essential includes email support, and you can add a consultation any time.

Included on Enhanced & Elite

Your report comes back fast.

Guaranteed same day on Elite, prioritized for same day on Enhanced, and within 24 hours on Essential, same day whenever we can. The seller isn't waiting two business days on you.

Same-day guaranteed on Elite

You choose where we focus.

Worried about a noise, an accident on the history report, or one specific system? Tell us, and the inspection digs in exactly there, with the findings written back against your concern.

In their words

What buyers say about us.

"Both Carfax and AutoCheck showed no accidents or issues, but that turned out to be untrue. Car Pro Inspections found suspension and engine problems that weren't shown anywhere. They saved me from one of the biggest vehicle purchase mistakes of my life."
Kevin Jacobs
"A pre-purchase inspection saved me from flying to GA and buying a vehicle that would not have made it back to TX. Dealers love to share great photos but don't disclose issues."
Vanessa
"Very pleased with the service from Car Pro Inspections. They were quick, efficient and provided a great level of detail with a report that included pictures and explanations."
Michael Johnson, Atlanta, GA
The honest concessions

What they are genuinely better at.

If any of these matter more to you than what is above, book them instead. We would rather you get the right service than the wrong one from us.

  • National coverage. They inspect in all 50 states. We cover the Atlanta and Orlando metros only. If your car is in Phoenix, we cannot help and they can.
  • Price. They are cheaper than us at most vehicle types. If price is your deciding factor, they will win it.
  • Review volume. They have thousands of reviews nationally. We have 168 locally, all five star. Volume and score are different signals, and you should weigh both.
If the deal falls through

What if the car sells before we get there?

You get your money back.

  • Cancel before the technician heads out: full refund, no fee.
  • If the car sells, the seller backs out, or the deal falls through after we have dispatched, and it is not something you did: full refund, or a credit if you prefer. No fee either way.
  • If you change your mind after we have dispatched: a credit at full value is free, or a refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Credits are valid for 12 months, may be transferred once to a person you name, hold no cash value, and are redeemable in our service areas.
  • A travel fee that has already been paid is not refunded.

Why buyers switch to a local service

Buyers who've used national inspection networks tell us the same three stories: the big fault the report missed, the report that took days, and the appointment that kept moving. A local operation lives on its next referral, so we show up when we said, inspect like it's our own money, and put a name on the work.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you book.

What is the difference between Car Pro Inspections and a national inspection service?

A national service is a dispatch network: you book with the company, and a contractor in your area is assigned the job. Car Pro Inspections is a local team in Atlanta and Orlando. The certified, factory-trained technician who inspects your car is the one who builds your report, and on Enhanced and Elite you can talk to that same person about what he found.

How fast will I get my report?

At Elite your report is guaranteed the same day. At Enhanced it is prioritized for the same day. At Essential you get it within 24 hours, and the same day whenever we can. Priority scheduling is available as an add-on at Essential and Enhanced.

Who will inspect my car?

A certified, factory-trained technician from our own small team. Between them the team holds credentials including ASE, manufacturer and factory training, collision, diesel and heavy truck, and EV and hybrid, and we match the technician to your vehicle rather than sending whoever is nearest.

Can I speak to the mechanic who inspected the car?

Yes, on Enhanced and Elite. Enhanced includes a 15 minute consultation and Elite includes a 30 minute priority call plus follow-up, both with the technician who inspected the vehicle. Essential includes email support, and you can add a consultation if you would like one.

Do you charge a travel fee?

We come to the car, whether it is at a dealership, a private seller's driveway, or an auction lot. A travel fee may apply depending on where the vehicle is, and we confirm it with you before the inspection.

What happens if the car sells before you inspect it?

You get a full refund. If the deal falls through after we have already dispatched a technician, through no fault of yours, you still get a full refund with no fee, or a credit if you would rather keep it for the next car.
